Joint Replacement Guidebook

Every joint replacement patient will be provided with a comprehensive guidebook. This guidebook is meant to provide our patients with helpful information including:

  • How to prepare for surgery
  • What to expect preoperatively, during the hospital stay, and postoperatively
  • Rehabilitation information

The guidebook should be brought to your preoperative physical therapy appointment, joint replacement class, to the hospital during your stay, and for postoperative physical therapy and physician visits.

Please refer to your guidebook for pre and postoperative physical therapy protocol. If you or your physical therapist has any questions, please call the Joint Care Coordinator at (320) 762-6661.
